			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>About 24,000 pounds of old TVs, monitors, laptops, computers and cell phones were collected at Saturday&#8217;s electronics recycling event at <strong>Three Rivers Mall</strong>, according to a mall press release.</p>
<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;People started showing up as soon as we set our tent up,&#8221; said Renie Duvall, CEO/ President of EcoTech Recycling of Kalama. &#8220;We took back seven truckloads to our warehouse in Kalama. It was a very successful event. We look forward to coming back again.&#8221;</em></p></blockquote>
<p>Izzy&#8217;s Pizza offered discount coupons, cookies and coffee to people dropping off their old electronics. The free event also collected several hundred dollars in donations for Habitat for Humanity, the press release said.</p>
<p>Another recycling event by Three Rivers Mall and EcoTech is being planned later this summer. EcoTech remarkets components and disassembles e-waste electronic equipment, semiconductor end-of-life equipment, front end and back end semiconductor scrap and sanitized medical metal scrap.</p>

<p><strong>Kelso, WA – April 5, 2011</strong> – EcoTech Recycling and Three Rivers Mall are sponsoring a FREE recycling event on Saturday, April 23rd, from 10am to 4pm in the parking lot nearest Izzy’s Pizza. The general public is welcome to bring their old computers, laptops, CPU towers, cell phones, monitors, old TVs (any size) and drop them off at the EcoTech collection station. Donations will also be accepted for Habitat for Humanity.</p>
<p>“EcoTech performs a great service to our community by accepting orphaned TVs, Monitors, CPU Towers and more,” says Linda DiLembo, General Manager of Three Rivers Mall. “There’s no reason these items have to end up in a landfill.”</p>
