Izzy’s Pizza offered discount coupons, cookies and coffee to people dropping off their old electronics. The free event also collected several hundred dollars in donations for Habitat for Humanity, the press release said.

Another recycling event by Three Rivers Mall and EcoTech is being planned later this summer. EcoTech remarkets components and disassembles e-waste electronic equipment, semiconductor end-of-life equipment, front end and back end semiconductor scrap and sanitized medical metal scrap.

Donations will also be accepted for Habitat for Humanity.
